brimpsfield & Mid Cotswold Garden Society

About the Society

The Brimpsfield & Mid-Cotswold Garden Society, founded in 1971, serves the villages in the area between Gloucester and Cirencester.  As well as our annual Show, we organise occasional outings for members, a spring plant sale and a summer garden party and hold winter meetings with a horticultural theme and a strong social element.  Members benefit from a discount at Dundry Nurseries, Staverton and can take advantage of significantly reduced prices through our bulk order with Dobies Seeds.
We aim to be a friendly society and we welcome anyone with an interest, however general, in gardens and gardening.

Contact the Secretary, Frances Ellery  for further information - Tel: 01452 862412 or email: brimpsfieldgardensociety@gmail.com

July Newsletter

  Dear Members,

we all enjoy a sunny day, and the weather was (too?!) sunny for our Open Gardens afternoon, which everyone seemed to enjoy!  Onwards and upwards ...

The next event is the Annual Show, and you'll find all the relevant documents attached alongside the latest newsletter.  There are two versions of the Schedule - the 'read version' has the classes in logical order, and the 'print' one has them arranged for printing in booklet form.  I can't say it too many times - PLEASE READ everything carefully if you're entering the Show!  There's a lot of information but it is there to help you.  I look forward to receiving your entry forms (or emails listing classes to be entered)!  Paper copies will appear in Brimpsfield phone box later this week (if you can't see them, try down the back of the newspaper delivery box as they sometimes slide down there).

Another email will follow this one with information about a couple of outings being organised by other groups - too many attachments for one email.

Happy gardening!

Frances Ellery
